Well the first quarter sure flew by! It was nice to see all of you at conferences. We had 100% attendance for conferences this year! Your commitment to your child's education is appreciated! You should have received two letters today from your child. One letter describes our service project for the two soldiers serving in Afghanistan. This will be a valuable learning experience for the students. The second letter explains the importance of practicing multiplication facts at home to help students master their multiplication facts. Please read both letters, sign them, and send them back with your child. Thansk
Fourth grade is off to a great start! The students have been very responsible for homework. Last week we went on a field trip to Swan Lake for our Safety Day Camp. The students learned about a wide variety of topics related to personal safety. Mid terms for the first quarter will be coming home this week.
We have had a great start to the school year! The Fourth Graders have done a wonderful job listening and learning about our fourth grade routine. I hope you all have a restful weekend.
A reminder that school pictures are Thursday, August 26th. Please return your envelope as soon as possible. Also please remember to have your child read at home and sign the WEB signature sheet! Have a good weekend! Mr. Cast 8/13/10
Welcome to Fourth Grade! I hope everyone had a safe and fun summer vacation! Our Fourth Grade room is ready for the first day of school. A reminder that we have open house at the Manning Elementary on Monday, August 16th, from 5:00-6:30. Students are welcomed to bring in their school supplies to organize their desks and lockers. I will also have beginning of the year forms that parents may fill out the night of open house or take them home. I look forward to the new school year! Start blogging by creating a new post.
